Orchestra Gala is a musical extravaganza brimming with emerging stars and classic symphonic splendor! Highlight of the programme is a group of budding young soloists, all violin students from the Yip’s Children’s Choral and Performing Arts Centre, who have been trained under a well-structured system from the age of 4. Each of these students, aged 8-12, was selected through highly competitive audition and the ones with the most potential are given this valuable chance to perform as soloists accompanied by Principal Conductor Jeff Leung, along with instructors Anand Li, Jeffrey Sit, and Tommy Yeung, will lead the Beethoven Orchestra, Mozart Orchestra, Haydn Orchestra, and Handel Orchestra in performances of popular classical works besides providing orchestral accompaniment for the young soloists.
